The Slippery Slope!

One doesn’t know who to believe, the Sunday Express headlines splashed across the front page that PRIVATE INVESTORS ARE GOING TO FOOT THE BILL FOR THE NEXT PHASE OF HS2!  Reading between the (railway) lines does this mean that the Conservative Party backers of millionaires are going to pay, because the Tory Party makes sure that these people are not taxed properly, even though they have several houses, lots of windows that need to be taxed?  This will certainly save Risky Sunhat’s embarrassment of getting the job done.  Just think of all those houses that are derelict now because of Risky’s decision not to proceed with a certain line.

Interviews with owners of these derelict properties on the BBC midday news on Sunday 21st January 2024, were wondering whether the Government were going to offer these neglected buildings back to them.  Most owners were confused that their world had been turned upside down by a government leader who hadn’t the faintest idea what he was doing and quite frankly shouldn’t be allowed to govern the United Kingdom!

Not only already a swathe of countryside is marred by the dithering ideas of a lunatic and hitherto empty properties purchased with PUBLIC MONEY now empty because HE CHANGED HIS MIND HALFWAY THROUGH THE PROJECT!  I have to ask myself WHAT MIND?  Now more persons are going to lose their properties and a new swathe of our beautiful countryside is going to be lost forever.  Does it really matter that to get from A to B in one hour instead of one and a half, especially when there are so many other disruptions, such a leaf or ice on the rail and anything else the railways can come with as an excuse for not running to the schedule.  In my younger days, travelling by train was a joy, never late, lots of times running early.  The coaches were old fashioned, but that didn’t matter!  If people want to go faster, they can always go by Helicopter, it will probably be cheaper!

As the exclusive announcement made in the Newspaper reads:  We should be grateful that the West Midlands and Greater Manchester Councils are paying the major part of money for this project to continue.  I just hope the Councils concerned are aware of this!  I will have to keep this information in my filing cabinet to see if, as promised the public sector, are not going to be asked to pay the outstanding remainder of this enormous bill.  Usually there is always a “BUT” in the equation, when a Tory MP finds an excuse by some devious means and disguises this amount by raising the local housing tax!

Some names have been changed to protect the GUILTY!

I have just spotted in the same newspaper a question that I would dearly love to know the answer to:- “What did Post Office do with all that money?”   The government state they don’t know.  It’s a Robin Hood type of question – They robbed the poor and gave it to the rich!  Somebody must know.  Somebody must be rubbing their hands together – perhaps Horizon’s got it and now it’s in the Cayman Islands in a private vault owned by someone living in this country and will be retiring from work soon!

How quickly the heads of the Post Office chased and sued the Sub Post Office Personnel and physically took all their money!  Now it is up to Risky Sunhat to repay in kind and not drag his tiny toes on this matter.  Look big and pay up pronto!

The trouble with some people “They always seem to allow the power they have got go to their heads, and euphoria takes over and they believe that they are invincible and do or make decisions that sometimes can backfire and when that happens they try to blame other people for their misdeeds!”

Just a reminder:

Another thing, the person who received a C.B.E. and although she has given it back, should go to prison for causing so much pain and distress and also causing the deaths of people who committed suicide.  Should we start a petition for this to happen?

The above is just my opinion and anyone who wants to write to me care of the newspaper regarding this content – please do so!  Swear words are not accepted.
